MUAY THAI KICKBOXING
The martial art of Muay Thai, originating in Thailand, has become more and more popular as Mixed Martial Arts has exploded across the country. However, HFS instructors have been training and teaching Muay Thai well before the MMA boom. Whether you want to train in Muay Thai for competition or simply to learn the martial art, our expert instructors will help you reach your goals. HFS Muay Thai classes can be taken as an individual discipline or as part of our Mixed Martial Arts (MMA) training program.

About HFS Muay Thai

Muay Thai is traditionally the national past time for the country thailand. Muay Thai, also referred to as Thai Boxing, is known affectionately as "The Science of Eight Limbs", as the hands, shins, elbows, knees and head are all used extensively in this art. A Muay Thai fighter thus has the ability to execute strikes using eight points of contact, as opposed to two points (fists) in Western boxing and four points (fists, feet) used in the primarily sport-oriented forms of martial arts.
